I come from a long line of Azoreans, thus my blog name. I am an Art Historian, an Artist and a Writer (historical fiction). I live in the beautiful historical city center of Florence, Italy. Some of my work has been displayed in galleries and also published. I am not famous by any means (nor is it my goal). I simply love what I do and enjoy the pleasure that my work brings to others. I will admit that it would be nice to make a good living as a writer- who knows? Maybe this blog will make that dream come true for me. I have gone through many things in my life and have lived in three countries (USA, Brazil and Italy). My personal experiences and exposure to different cultures has only enriched my capacity to create. Hopefully, you (my dear readers) will agree.
